Kylie Sambirsky

Kylie Sambirsky recently earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Colorado Boulder. Her experience as an undergraduate research assistant inspired her to pursue professional research opportunities focused on mental health. Kylie will join the mind. body. voice. project as a professional research assistant and will continue her work on the Alma expansion. Her research interests center on adolescent and young adult mental health, with a particular focus on substance use disorders (SUDs). She completed an honors thesis examining substance use expectancies, deepening her commitment to understanding and supporting individuals with SUDs through non-stigmatizing approaches. Kylie is also a member of the inaugural cohort of Undergraduate Research Fellows at the Renée Crown Wellness Institute. Through this role, she has engaged in community-based research, developed skills in collaborative inquiry, and strengthened her dedication to promoting mental wellness and equity in youth populations.
